National Convention on Privacy Rights Protection
NGO News Report :: Development in ICTs have expanded the horizon of communications, on the other hand private privacies is being violated in the name of various laws and economic interests. National policies and laws to protect private information are needed. Coordination and cooperation among government and non government organizations can be effective in his regard.
To discuss these issues the NGO personalities are going to organize an event named ‘National Convention on Privacy Rights Protection’. This program will be held on 31st December 2014, 09.00 am to 02.00 pm at the National Press Club (VIP lounge). The convention will be organized jointly by Voice, Bangladesh Human Rights Journalists Forum, Campaign on citizens right to information, Equity nad Justice Working Group Bangladesh, SUPRO, Online Knowledge Society, School of Communication and Cultural Metaphysics.
A K M Rahmutullah MP, Chairperson, Standing committee for the Ministry of Information, Kazi Forj Rashid MP, Member, committee for the Ministry of Telecommunication and ICT, Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Convener, Nagorik Oikya, Khushi Kabir, Chief Coordinator, Nijera Kori, Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Chief Editor, Boishakhi will be present as the panel discussants.
